Obverse: Elephant advancing right; 3-arched hill above
Reverse: Lion standing left; hill to left and swastika above.
A very rare large denomination (12g) for this series – this is the heaviest we have seen.
A similar specimen, but not as heavy (8.22 g), sold for $285 with buyer’s premium in Stephen Album’s Auction 36 (Lot 1052).
